Paper unknown. He died in 1952. THOMAS CLIFFORD DAVIS Services for Thomas Clifford Davis, retired farmer, were held at 2 Monday afternoon at the Gadsden Baptist Church. The Rev. J.H. Booth officiated. Burial was in Salem Cemetery. Mr. Davis, who was 83 died Sunday. He was born in Scotts- boro, Ala. but had live in Crock- ett County for many years. He was a Baptist. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Molly Davis; three sons, W.H. Davis and T.V. Davisof Memphis and D.B. Davis of Stuttgart, Ark,; three daughters, Mrs. H.O. Ed- wards of Gadsden, Mrs. Bessie Hudgins and Mrs. Mattie Craig of Memphis and a sister, Mrs. John Evan's of Dyer, Tenn. |
