"Mr. Craig Services for Robert Grover (Rob) Craig, 86, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Friendship Methodist Church with Rev. John Britt of Brownsville, Reve. Gayle Alexander and Rev. Lewis Walker officiating. Burial in Alamo cemetery with Friendship Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Craig died suddenly at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at his home at 617 East Main St. in Alamo. He was born in Crockett county and was the son of the late Oscar and Bettie Bell Craig. He was a retired farmer. He formerly lived in Friendship before moving to Alamo several years ago. He leaves four daughters, Miss Robbie Craig, Mrs. Lucille Cox, both of Alamo, Mrs. Fay Jones of near Gadsden and Miss Frances Craig of Memphis; two sons, Gene Craig of Phoenix, Arizona and Frank Craig of Memphis; one half-brother, J.T. Craig, one half-sister, Mrs. Carrie Williams, both of Friendship; one step-sister Mrs. Helen Blair of Alamo; 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren."
