CROCKETT COUNTY SENTINEL VOLUME 77 NUMBER 3 THURSDAY MAY 12, 1949 BELLS, TENNESSEE DEATH -- William Wesley CRAIG, former legislator and banker, died at his home in Ripley. He was 79. Burial in Maplewood Cemetery in Ripley. He was born in Friendship, Crockett County, September 29, 1869. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Mary McKnight CRAIG; two daughters, Mrs. Charles VOLZ and Miss Catherine CRAIG, both of Ripley; two sisters, Mrs. O. L. GRANT, of Bells and Mrs. Cora SUMMERS, of Alamo, and four grandchildren. |
