The Crockett Times Alamo, Tennessee Thursday, March 29, 1951 Vol. 19 No. 5 MRS. RUBY COOK Services for Mrs. Ruby Cook, who died Monday following a stroke, were held at the residence of a son, John Cook in the Mason Grove community Tuesday at 2 p.m. by Rev. Carl Davis assisted by Reba Roberts. Burial was in Raines Cemetery with Ronk Funeral Home in charge. She was ill one week. Mrs. Cook was 75 years of age and a native of Stewart County. She was a Methodist and had lived in the Mason Grove Community for many years. Surviving are two sons, John Cook of Mason Grove, Layton Cook of Gadsden and three daughters, Mrs. Edd David of Beech Bluff, Tenn., Mrs. Bernard Raines of Gadsden and Mrs. Hearn Kernodle of Jackson. |
