The Crockett Times Alamo, Tennessee Thursday, March 15, 1951 Vol. 19 No. 3 JAMES OBIE CLARK Services for James Obie Clark who died at his home near Friendship Monday after several months' illness were held at 2:00 Tuesday afternoon at the Tigrett Church of Christ with Edgar Williams officiating. Burial was in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. Mr. Clark, who was 74, was a farmer and member of a pioneer family in West Tennessee. He leaves two daughters, Mrs. J. T. Via of Friendship and Mrs. Inez Golden of Dyersburg; three sons, Paul Clark of Baton Rouge, La., Marion Clark of Trenton and Lacy Clark of Friendship, and two sisters, Mrs. T. L. Stallings of Tigrett and Mrs. Clifford Mobley of Friendship. |
