The Crockett Times Alamo, Tennessee Thursday, March 15, 1951 Vol. 19 No. 3 JAMES E. CASTELLAW James E. Castellaw, well-known citizen of the Eleventh District, died Friday night at 9:30. Mr. Castellaw was 79 years of age and a life long resident of the county. He was a highly respected farmer and a member of the Baptist Church at Barker's Chapel. He leaves his wife; eight sons, Roland Castellaw, superintendent of schools at Covington, Paul Castellaw and Eura Castellaw of Maury City, Ivan Castellaw of Alamo, Myram and Lavel Castellaw of Memphis and Riddell and Leon Castellaw of Friendship; five daughters, Mrs. Helen Revelle and Mrs. Mary Nell Redmond of Crockett Mills, Mrs. Hazel Archer of Memphis, Miss Juanita Castellaw of Maury City and Mrs. Ruth Thompson of Savannah; three sisters, Mrs. Will Mayo of Maury City, Mrs. Pearl Lyons of Auburn, Wash., Mrs. Daisy Morrell of Tacoma, Wash., and one brother, Sam Castellaw of Bemis. |
