Jessie Leon Carmon is my father – There are a few things in the obit that are not correct (1) his name was Jessie Leon (not Lee, however, that’s the way it appeared in the Gazette), Leroy Carmon lived in Southaven, MS at the time of his death, not Friendship; Robert Franklin Carmon lived in Memphis, TN not Friendship and his brother Robert Carmon lived in Hernando, MS., not Tigrett. Also his sister in Menlo, GA’s name was Neldred Hill, not Mildred Hill.
