MRS. W. BEN CAMPBELL DIED WEDNESDAY NIGHT AT HER RIPLEY HOME

Services for Mrs. W. Ben CAMPBELL, who died of a heart ailment at her home in Ripley August 23rd at 11:50, after an illness of two weeks, were held at the CAMPBELL home Friday morning, burial in Maplewood Cemetery. Mrs. CAMPBELL, a member of a prominent West Tennessee family was born in Crockett County near Friendship, moving to Lauderdale County 55 years ago. She was 78, and a member of the Baptist Church. She leaves three sons, Ed CAMPBELL, Memphis, Ben CAMPBELL, Memphis, and Joe A. CAMPBELL, Greenville, Tenn.; five daughters, Mrs. C. L. STEHLE, Memphis, Mrs. S. J. WALTON, Memphis, Mrs. Dan HENDERSON, Memphis, Miss Lois CAMPBELL, Ripley, and Miss Ruth CAMPBELL, Ripley.
