MR. J. H. BURRESS--died at his home near Rutherford Monday, and the body was brought to the home of Mr. Collins BURRESS Monday evening and buried in the family lot in Friendship Cemetery Tuesday morning. Mr. BURRESS had been in poor health for many months and the cause of his death was Brights'Disease. He was born March 14th, 1864, was 59 years of age, was born and reared near Milan, the son of Solomon BURRESS. He taught school with the exception of eight years that he served as County Court Clerk and for the past two years has been teaching in the 19th district. He was married to Miss Mabel NETHERLY in 1905, and to this union four boys and three girls were born.
