The Crockett Times Alamo, Tennessee Thursday, March 1, 1951 Vol. 19 No. 1 J. F. BROOKS J. F. Brooks, farmer in the Chestnut Bluff community, died at 9 a.m. Saturday morning at the Baird-Brewer Hospital in Dyersburg. He was 70. Services were held at the Lebanon Methodist Church at 2 p.m. Monday afternoon with the Rev. W. M. Vaughn officiating. Burial was in the Halls Cemetery. Mr. Brooks was a member of the Methodist Church. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Cordelia P. Brooks; four daughters, Mrs. Lee Hollman of Bells; Mrs. Joe Hamilton of Halls; Mrs. Geo. Ozment of Friendship and Mrs. Elvie Reynolds of Halls and two brothers, J. W. Brooks of Tarrington, Wyo., and E. H. Brooks of Blytheville, Ark. |
