The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, August 1, 1946 Sam L. Beaver Services for Sam L. Beaver who died at his home near Friendship early Wednesday morning were held at the Bethesda Presbyterian Church at 3 Thursday afternoon with the Rev. Oakley Woodside officiating. Burial in the church cemetery with Sudbury Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Beaver, a leading farmer and landowner, was 67. He was born in Dyer County and spent most of his life in the vicinity of Friendship. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Ardena Hendrick Beaver; a son, James Beaver of Friendship; two daughters, Miss Ozell Beaver and Mrs. James Castellaw of Friendship; three brothers, Tom, Bob and Hearme of Friendship, and a sister, Mrs. L. O. Park, Friendship. |
