Crockett (Tenn.) Times, Jan. 4, 1962: William Robert Ball Services for William Robert Ball, who died Friday at his home in Friendship, were held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Friendship Methodist Church with the Rev. (illegible) Kennedy of Brownsville officiating, assisted by the pastor Rev. John Britt. Burial was at Sudbury Cemetery with the Friendship Funeral home in charge. Ball was 76 and a retired (illegible). He was born in Lauderdale County, but had lived in this county most of his life. He was a member of the Friendship Methodist Church. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Ethel Ball; a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Wood of Greenville, Miss.; four sons, Fain Ball of Friendship, Willie B. Ball of Maury City, J.C Ball of Oak Ridge and Wallace Ball of Flint, Mich; a brother (illegible) Ball of Humboldt; 12 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. |
