The Crockett Times, Alamo, and/or Crockett County Sentinel, Bells 29 May 1975 Services for Mrs. Edna Tipton Ball, 66, were held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Ronk Funeral Home with Rev. Ronald Allen officiating. Burial was in Alamo cemetery. Mrs. Ball died Sunday night at the Medi-Center in Jackson. She had been in failing health for some time. She was the wife of Travis Ball, retired County Manager of the Production Credit Association in Crockett County. She was born in Crockett County and was the daughter of the late John and Annie Hoppers Tipton. She was a member of the United Methodist Church. Besides her husband, she leaves one sister, Mrs. Norma Caldwell of Memphis; one brother, J. D. Tipton of Humboldt, Tenn. Pallbearers: David Henderson, Harvey Haynes, Royce Austin, Horace Colvett, Harry Cook Wainright and Fred Colvett.
