Mr. Avery

Services for Erroll Troy Avery, 59, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Maury City Baptist Church with Rev. James Jones and Rev. Dean Woodard officiating. Burial was in Maury City with Ronk Funeral Home in charge.

Mr. Avery died suddenly Wednesday about six p.m. in the Alamo Cafeteria.

He was an accountant and was born in Crockett County, the son of Mrs. Lida Sue Smith of Alamo and the late. T.H. Avery.

Other surviivors are his wife, Mrs. Margaret Harper Avery; one son, Erroll Harper Avery of Atlanta, Ga.; one daughter, Mrs. Saundra Johnson of Trenton, Tenn.; one brother, T.H. Avery of Dallas, Texas; three grandchildren. Pallbearers were: David Butner, Jim Austin, Butler Robertson, Waylon Harper, Calvin Massey, James Ward.
