The Crockett Times, Alamo, and/or Crockett County Sentinel, Bells 19 Sep 1974 Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Authalia Avery, 71, were held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Cairo Baptist Church, with L. W. Todd officiating. Burial in the church cemetery with Ronk Funeral Home in charge. Mrs. Avery died Friday night at Gibson General Hospital in Trenton. Her home was on Rt. 1 Humboldt. She formerly lived in Alamo. She leaves her husband, Marvin E. Avery; three sons, James M. Avery of Memphis, Homer L. Avery of Senatobia, Miss., and Maurice Avery of Trenton; one daughter, Mrs. Mary McArthur of Memphis; one brother, James Otis Morris of Dyersburg; one half-brother, J. C. Morris of Oxly, Mo; one half-sister, Mrs. Peggy Morris of Winston-Salem, N. C.; 18 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
