Funeral services for Rupert (Rube) Daniel Agee, 84, were held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Friendship United Methodist church with Rev. Lewis Walker officiating. Burial was in Bellevernon cemetery with Friendship Funeral Home in charge.

Mr. Agee died Tuesday p.m. at the Veteran's Hospital in Memphis.

He was born in Crockett County the son of the late Andrew Jackson and Laura Gregory Agee. He was a Veteran of World War I, a member of the Methodist church, and a retired farmer.

He leaves two sisters, Mrs. Betty Lou Randolph and Mrs. Pearl Smith of Alamo, three brothers, Lois Agee and Paul Agee, both of Dyersburg and Mitchell Agee of LaFayette, KY.
