Robert P. Mahon and Kate Savage were married in Jackson, Tennessee, October 1,1895. They were married in the home of her father at 8:00 P.M.; went to Humboldt that night. Prof. Finis HENDERSON and Cole GILLIESPIE went with me to Jackson that afternoon.

Kate S. Mahon passed away in Pineville, Ky., May 16,1945 and was buried there.

Their children:

1. Robert Perry Jr. born in Humboldt, September 29, 1896. Married Sessums MCCOY, 1917, she passed away in 1928. He married Claire ROGERS in Jackson in 1930.

By his first wife there were two children, a boy and a girl.

By his second wife, Claire, he has one daughter.

11. Elizabeth Mahon , born in Toluca, Mexico, February 19,1900

Married James SMITH Jr. in New Orleans, Coliseum Baptist Church, June 6, 1922. Her grandfather SAVAGE and the pastor, Rev. L.T. HASTING, officiating. They went at once to live in Shreveport.

They have four children.

They have three children, girls. Now Feb. 16, they have a son.
