J. A. Farrow et ux Know all men by these presents: That for and in consideration of Fifty ($50.00) Dollars, cash or its equivelant (sic) in hand paid, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, we, J. A. Farrow and wife Mrs. Berta Farrow have this day bargained, sold and do hereby transfer and convey unto J. T. Green, T. W. Cates, and Allen Norville, Trustee, for the use and benefit of a burial ground, being an addition to the old Norville Graveyard, the following described tract or parcel of land: Situated in the 6th Civil District of Crockett County, Tennessee, and beginning on a State the N.E. corner of the present Norville Graveyard lot, running thence East 200 ft. to center of public road, thence South 100 feet to a stake; thence West 200 feet to a stake in the S. E. corner of said Norville Graveyard Lot; thence North with the South line of the said present graveyard lot 100 feet to the point of beginning.
To have and to hold said lot or parcel of land unto them the said J. T. Green, T. W. Cates and Allen Norville, Trustees aforesaid, and to their successors as such forever We covenant with he (sic) said Trustees that we are lawfully seized and possessed of said tract or parcel of land; that the same is unincumbered (sic); that we have a perfect right to make this conveyance and that we will forever warrant and defend the title to said lot or parcel of land unto them the said Trustees and to their successors as such against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever.
Berta Farrow Personally appeared before me, E. E. Emison, Notary Public of said county, the two names J. A. Farrow and wife Berta Farrow the bargainor, with whom I am personally acquainted and acknowledged that they executed the attached instrument for the purpose therein expressed. And Berta Farrow wife of the said J.A. Farrow having personally appeared before me, privately and apart from her husband the said Berta Farrow adknowledged the execution of said instrument to have been done by her freely, voluntarily and understandingly, without compulsion or constraint from the said husband and for the purpose therein expressed. Witness my hand and notarial Seal at office in Bells Tenn., this 27 day of Aug., 1936. My Commission Expires 9-6-1938.
