Alamo Tennessee, Monday, September 6th A.D. 1880
State of Tennessee This cause came on to be heard before W. W. WHITAKER Chairman of the County Court of Crockett County on this the 6th day of Sept. 1880 when the defendant SAMUEL DeWITT confessed to the charge of being the father of an illigitimate child begotten upon the body of MISS WILLIE MAY an unmarried woman in Crockett County and it further appears that said illegitimate child has been delivered, and the proceedings had in the case are regular and in accordance with the provisions of the Statutes in such cases made and provided... Alamo, Tennessee, Wednesday October 6th A.D. 1880

In this cause it is ordered by the Court that all money paid or to be paid into the Court in per----? of the decree of the Court against the said SAMUEL DeWIT at the Sept term 1880 be paid (except the cost) to MAHON & GOODLOE agents and attys for Miss WILLIE MAY.
