HARMON MC GEE'S WILL
In the name of God Amen
I Harmon Mc Gee being of sound mind and good memory and confident that I have to
die I therefore make this my last will and Testament.
First my desire is that all my just debts and burial expences be paid
2nd. I want all my property sold and all the money arising from the sale
of the property and notes that is due me collected together with the money that
is now in the house to be put out by my Executor at interest and Equally divided
between my three children Hannah C. McGee Wm. Francis McGee and Sarah Amanda
McGee When they shall become of age it is furthermore my desire that Jane
Barham take and rase my youngest child Sarah Amanda Mc Gee and Hughly Mc Gee my
brother rase my Eldest child Hannah C. Mc Gee and furthere it is my wish that
John Barham my nephew by marriage take and raise my only son Wm. Francis Mc
Gee. I further appoint my worth friend A. Barksdale Executor to this my
last will and Testament in Testimony I set my hand and affix my seal this the
28th day of November in the year of our Lord 1856,
N. B. it is further my will and desire that Jane Barham Hughly McGee &
Jno. Barham be paid a reasenalbe compensation for raising & Schooling my 3
minor children.

This day was produced in in open court a paper writing purporting to be the last will and Testament of Harmon McGee Decd and the same was duly proven by the Testimony of D. Z. Allen and David Evans & thereupon the said paper writing was admitted to probate and ordered to be recorded of which the foregoing is a copy Test.
