Mary Salena (Dorsey) Jarrard (left) & Sally Frady (right).  Mary Salena was the dau of Andrew Dorsey & Nancy Smith of Mossy Creek, GA & wife of Dr. Josiah Daniel Jarrard, Physician & Methodist Preacher.  All buried in Mossy Creek Cemetery.
 
When the children started coming, Dr. Jarrard hired a teen aged girl from "across the mountain" named Sarah "Sally" Frady to help care for them.   Sally had a young son of her own but I don't think he was brought up in the Jarrard Family.  Sally lived her entire life with the Jarrards & is buried next to them. 
 
The Jarrards are my gg grandparents, through their son, Wm Newton Jarrard who came to Limestone Co., TX.  He eventually settled in Harris Co. TX & died there.
