$12.50 January the 16 1885
One day after date I
promise to pay T. L Smith and Son or Bearer
Dollars and twelve dollars 50 Cents for value received,
and I hereby waive both for
for myself & family all rights to homestead and
exemption to which I might be entitled
under the laws of Georgia, or the United States, as against this
note, with interest 8 per cent per annum until paid,
and ten per cent Attorney fees if suit is brought on
this note.
In witness whereof I
have hereunto set my hand an affixed my seal.
