them good bye with the usual accompaniment of rice, old shoes and
various decorations attached
to their trunks. They will spend a few days in Dallas visiting the
state fair, and afterwards
go to Tuttle, Okla., for a short stay with the bride's sister,

COMES FROM ENGLAND TO BE A TEXAS BRIDE
All the way from Bournemouth, England to this country to become a
bride, is the romantic
experience of Miss Christina Sutherland, who will be wedded to
Andrew McKenzie this afternoon.
Mr. McKenzie left England some time ago coming to Wichita Falls.
In spite of the fact that some
thousand miles of land and salt water lay between them, the
promises made by the couple before
McKenzie left England were kept, and several weeks ago Miss
Sutherland left her home to become
a Texas bride. If nothing goes amiss, the romance will have its
culmination this afternoon,
when the wedding is scheduled to take place.
