Bass Ave Cemetery

Abandoned

Formerly located on the plot of ground now used by the John Gaston Memorial Hospital which
fronts Madison Ave. Bass Ave was a part of this property in the early days of Memphis. The
bodies from this old burying ground were exhumed and re-interred in the Congregation
Children of Israel (CC of I) Cemetery on Hernando Rd.
