This picture was found in the possessions of John Henry Dickey born 1861. He was from Dyer, Gibson County, TN.and died 1944 in Sharp County, Arkansas. Perhaps it is a photo of his mother but she is unknown unless she was the N. A. Thomas that married David Lawson Dickey, Feb. 1861 in Gibson County, TN. Isuspect that her first initial was really an "M" for Matilda. Matilda was married to an A. C. Jones 1870 in Sharp County, AR. and had a daughter named Jane Jones. Evidently Matilda divorced and went back to Gibson County with daughter Jane. Jane married a McFarland.

Standing third from the left is Wyatt Jasper Jones, born 1884 in Gibson Co., died 1947 in Jackson, Madison Co., TN, son of Wyatt Thomas Jones of Jackson, TN. and grandson of Alexander Mitchell Jones of Trenton, TN. Who are the other folks? [about 1905]

"Jeffie and Leroy" written on the back. The children may be from one of these
families: Summar, Batchelor, Prince, Chatham.
