John D. and Elizabeth moved to Gibson County in 1902 or 3. After John Daniel and Elizabeth were married they lived in Saltillo, Tennessee many years but hearing about Gibson County, the land flowing with milk and honey, they moved to Yorkville. In the later years of their life they lived in the Currie Community on Currie Road. They were known as "Gramper Dan" and "Granny Beth".
All are buried at Good Hope Cemetery.
