The saw mill was owned and operated by Earnest Elbert Bevil on East Front Street in Bradford. "Big Daddy", as we called him, was quite an entrepreneur, having owned at one time or another the saw mill, Bevil's Garage, a plumbing business and the first movie house in Bradford.
We are not sure when this picture was taken but it must have been in the late 1940's or early 1950's.
