"This is a picture of some WPA workers made in Humboldt in 1938.  They were paving drainage ditches and I just know two of them.  My dad, Henry Anthony, is front row center in the overalls and white shirt.  The man behind him with the torn shirt sleeve is Charlie Arnold."
