The picture was taken about 1926 in front of Thomas Alonzo King's house outside of Dyer, across the road from the New Bethlehem Baptist Church (where most of the family is buried).

Alonzo and Mattie were my g-g-grandparents. Lydia was
my g-grandmother (she was first married to Ollie Ward who died after about a
year of marriage and about 8 years later Lydia married Ernest Ward, a widower
with 2 daughters (Mildred and Willie Mae). Nellie was my grandmother.
I would love to find out who the "?" are. My mom did not know
them. If anyone has any questions they can email me and I'll do my very
best to answer.
