My grandfather and great grandfather were both from Gibson County. Joseph Richard Mount (married Sarah "Sally" Haste) and Richard Franklin Mount (married Sarah Hampton) . I had previously posted some pictures under the name of Mary Mount Curry. I've never been there, only heard the folks talk about it. I have pictures that I would love to have someone identify for me, but no one living who is older than me and can identify them, which is how I ended up on your website. Anyway, just thought those doing a little research would like to see this church in its earlier days.
Hi, I'm enclosing a picture of Lane View Baptist Church that was in my grandfather's album. He was a builder and often took pictures of houses he had build upon completion. I don't know if he build this church, but thought that your researchers would enjoy seeing it. Thanks for the work you do.
