John E. was the son
of John W. McCartney and Susan H. Greer McCartney. Etta was the daughter of John
Yates & Victoria Dunlap Yates. John E. & Etta had four
children: Roy Lee McCartney (1906-1909), Robert Ernest McCartney (1908-1914), Dennis
Ira McCartney (1912-1980), and Fred Howard McCartney (1918-1977). This picture was made in
1955.
