THE FIRST MERCHANT, FIRST MAYOR, AND TWO MEMBERS OF THE STATE LEGISLATURE ARE INTERRED HERE AS WELL AS MEMBERS OF MANY DISTINGUISHED FAMILIES. THE FIRST RECORDED BURIAL DATE IS 1834." *
