Location: At the 2nd red light in Dyer on Hwy 45W, turn east. Go to 4-way stop at school. Turn left. Go .5 mile. Cemetery is on right, back in a field. This cemetery has both blacks and whites buried here.

Plaque just inside gate: Bobbitt Cemetery and Pleasant Grove Society of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church - May 20, 1848. This church was organized by the Rev. John W. Grier and elders Henry T. Barton, John W. Bobbitt, Ephrim Davidson and James H. Orr. Fifty-one earnest men and women signed the organizing charter. Following the Civil War, in 1868, the church moved to the present site at 256 E. College Street and the name was changed to Dyer Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
