George W Akens, Company K, pvt/cpl, enlisted for 3 years in Gibson County on 6/1/63 at age 30, died in Andersonville Prison of a gunshot wound and scorbutus on 8/22/64. He was 5'8" tall, light complexion, blue eyes, light hair, a farmer, born in Gibson County. His wife received a pension.

Aaron Belew, Company C, enlisted in Paducah, KY on 3/1/65 at age 25, discharged Nashville 8/9/65. He was 5'11" tall, fair complexion, blue eyes, dark hair, a farmer, born in Gibson County.
