This is "WENWOOD" or "The Wilkins House". This house is located on High
Street in Trenton (next door to the Neil House). It was built in the early
1840's by John Wilkins. His family owned it for many years. William Osceola
Gordon purchased the home a few years before his death, which occured on
December 8, 1915. Mrs. Lowery is the current owner of the home. She was an
antique collector and has filled the home with beautiful antiques. Mrs.
Lowery is a decendent of a founder of the county, Isham F. Davis.

Updated photos of Wenwood. Charles Weems and his
wife Jennifer purchased Wenwood in March of 2001 and are doing extensive
renovations throughout. Many thanks to Charles
Weems for contributing the two photos above.
