Pneumonia Fatal To Hershel Jenkins
Hershel Jenkins 23, died at 2:30 p..m. Thursday after a four weeks illness
with pneumonia. Death occurred at the family home near Walnut Grove.
The deceased was the son of Mrs. Mattie Jenkins, who survives him, together with his wife and three children. He also leaves four brothers and seven sisters, in addition to numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at Walnut Grove Church yesterday afternoon at two o'clock conducted by Rev.S. B. Morrison, of this city. Interment followed in the cemetery there.
Mr. Jenkins was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church at Mt. Pleasant, having joined in 1924. His bereaved family has the sympathy of a host of friends.
