Dyersburg State Gazette posted January 21, 1974 RAWLES WILLIAMSON Rawles Williamson, route 3, Dyersburg, died Friday night at the Parkview Hospital. He was 89, a retired Farmer, and a member of the Richwoods Methodist Church. Funeral services were held Sunday at 4:00 at Curry's Chapel. The Reverend Benny Hopper officiated assisted by the Reverend Paul Lawrence. Burial followed at the Fairview Cemetery. Pallbearers were Don Campbell, Rubel Dees, Egbert Earl Peckenpaugh; Patterson Sims, Ed Ellis, and Clifford Davidson; J. W. Curry and Son Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Bobby Goodwin of Dyersburg, Mrs. Edward Frizzle of Finley, and Mrs. Charles Thompson of Martin; one sister, Mrs. J. O. Clark of Memphis; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. |
