DEATH Services for S. A. (Cap) THOMPSON, farmer of Hurricane Hill, were held Sunday at Hurricane Hill Methodist Church, burial in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Mr. THOMPSON, 70, died Saturday at Lauderdale County Hospital. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Lelia CHANDLER THOMPSON; two sons, Jesse THOMPSON of Memphis and Richard A. THOMPSON, of Calera, AL; one daughter, Mrs. Homer STEELMAN, Jr., of Halls; six brothers, Wilson THOMPSON, Cliff THOMPSON, Paul THOMPSON and Neal THOMPSON, all of Ripley; Hugh THOMPSON and Albert THOMPSON, both of Memphis; two sisters, Mrs. E. C. JOHNSTON and Mrs. Laura REECE, both of Ripley.
