STATE GAZETTE - Dyersburg, Tenn., Tuesday Afternoon, March 12, 1968 Mrs Dora Tate of Trimble Dies Mrs Dora Priest Tate of Trimble, wife of Benny Tate, died at her home yesterday. She was 77. Funeral arrangements for Mrs. Tate are incomplete awaiting the arrival of family members from California. Johnson Funeral Home at Newbern will have charge of arrangements. Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Avery Grady, Dyer; four sons, Thurmon Priest, Trimble; Cordell Priest, Los Angeles; Charlie Priest, Chete, Illinois; and James R. Priest, Norvalk, California; a brother, Tom Adoock, Dickson Tennessee; 11 grandchildre; and two great-grandchildren. |
