FINAL RITES FOR GUY STEPHENSON CURRY'S CHAPEL Services For Prominent Educator and Citizen On Wednesday Afternoon Guy D. Stephenson, prominent educator, esteemed citizen and retired superintendent of Dyersburg city schools, died at 3:30 o'clock this morning in the Methodist Hospital in Memphis where he had undergone an operation recently. Mr. Stephenson, who resided at 504 Sampson avenue, had not been well for several months. Funeral Services will be held at two o'clock Wednesday afternoon in the chapel of the Curry Funeral Home. The rites will be said by the Reverend Henry E. Russell, minister of the First Methodist Church, of which Mr. Stephenson was a devout member, which he served in an official capacity and for many years a vocalist. Burial will be in Fairview cemetery, with the following serving as pallbearers, J.C. Maddox, J.C . Sawyers, Page Hart, Fred Childress, Thomas Walker, and King W. Rogers, Jr., with Curry Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Native of County Mr. Stephenson is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lera Roney Stephenson; a sister, Mrs. W.B.
