STATE GAZETTE DYERSBURG, TENNESSEE 57TH YEAR NO. 95 NOVEMBER 28, 1922 MRS. MADISON RUCKER DIES AFTER SHORT ILLNESS--Many hearts were made sad Sunday morning, when news came of the death of Mrs. Madison RUCKER, who had only been ill a few days with a severe throat trouble. Mrs. RUCKER was, before her marriage a few years ago, Miss Eddie LEE, daughter of Mrs. J W REED of this city. Besides her husband, she is survived by a small son, a little over a year old, her mother and sister, Miss Willie Kate LEE. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at her home on Forrest Street by her pastor, Rev. M D CLUBB, assisted by Rev. F J HARRELL, pastor of the Baptist church. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery. The following acted as pallbearers: Robert NIXON, Sam BRADSHAW, Roy FOWKLES, Walter HENNING, Algernon RUCKER, Clifton ROGERS, Chester GREEN, Homer RICHARDS and Mr. LLOYD.
