Funeral services for Alva W. Love, 213 King Street, who died at his residence Sunday, will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 at Curry's Chapel. Dr. Robert L. Orr will officiate with burial at Fairview Cemetery. J.W. Curry and Son Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements. He was 72, and the owner of Loves Washerette.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ella Bennett Love; two daughters, Mrs. Cornice Mason of Dyersburg, and Mrs. Kathryn Spalding of Dallas, Texas; one step-son, Jadell George of Dyersburg; five sisters, Mrs. Ruby Lucas, Mrs. Anna Laurie Perry and Mrs. Allen Craig, all of Memphis, Mrs. Willie Vincent of Friendship and Mrs. A.D. Challberg of Milan; one brother, Fred Love of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
