Invalid Dies At Oak Grove Monday

Tassie Ode Gambill, 23, invalid for most of his life, died at eleven o'clock last night at his home in the Oak Grove community.

Funeral services were held at the residence at three o'clock this afternoon, with Rev. Marvin Pressley, aptist minister, officiating. Burial was in McCullough's Chapel cemetery. J. W. Curry and Son of Dyersburg had charge of the funeral arrangements.

Besides his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Gambill, he is survived by a sister, Miss Sidney Elizabeth Gambill, of Washington; three brothers, Thomas, Billy Joe and Fred Allen, all of whom reside at home.

[Two errors in the newspaper: Tassie was female, and the family spelled their name Gambell]
