Marvin Wesley Essary

Marvin Wesley Essary, 76, of Finley died Saturday at Methodist Hospital of Dyersburg.

He was a retired farmer, a U. S. Army World War II veteran, a member of Southside Baptist Church and the Veterans of Foreign War.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at the Dyersburg Funeral Home chapel conducted by the Rev. Ronnie Wylie. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Essary of Finley; two daughters, Maxine Cook of Pensacola, Fla.; and Jean Bray of Milian; one step- daughter, Peggy Hollingsworth of Finley; one sister, Connie Bane of Finley; one brother, Osdell (Pat) Essary of Heloise; six grandchildren and three great – grandchildren.
