Typhoid Fever Fatal To Finley Resident

Following on illness of typhoid fever, Mrs. Victoria Bush, well known resident of the Finley community, died at 8:45 o'clock Wednesday morning at her home there. She had been sick only a short while.

Mrs. Bush was a daughter of the late Sid Anderson of Missouri, later of Dyer county, and she had spent the most of her life here, where she was esteemed by a large host of friends. She was a member of the Methodist church.

She is survived by her husband, Sam Bush; one son, Leon Bush; a daughter, Mrs. Leona White; three brothers, Tom, Rube and Joe Anderson, and one sister, Mrs. Winnie Johnson, all of whom reside in the Finley community.

Services will be held in the Richwoods Methodist church, near Finley, at 2:00 o'clock Thursday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. H. A. Goforth of Finley. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill cemetery at Finley.

J. W. Curry and Son of Dyersburg are in charge of the funeral arrangements.
