Jessie Cook Family


This is Jessie W. Cook (age 30) and wife, Barbara Ann Thedford Cook (27).
Their children are Simon Cook (age 7) standing at the far right.
Lillie Cook (age 6, standing in the back).
The three smaller children are John (1), Lexie (2) and Bulie? (4).

Jessie was born ~1870 in NC, son of Martin Cook and Susan Forbes Cook. They moved to TN, between 1870 and 1880, while he was a small child, after Martin was released from Civil War ending.
Barbara Ann was born in TN
On your website, Lillie is pictured under Family Photos. She is Lillie Atchison, with husband Freed Hardemann Atchison. Simon married Johnnie Hurd, pictured on your site under HURD FAMILY. Simon and Johnnie were my Grandparents.

[Martin Cook is the GG Grandfather, that I have searched for, for many years, trying to find who his parents were--all born in NC]
