This is a wedding photo (circa Nov. 03, 1890) of Jennie "Beck"
Rebecca Alston. She was b Jan. 07, 1870 in Dyersburg to Charles Henry Alston
and Maria Leach Alston. She grew up just South of Dyersberg on Samaria Bend
Rd., on her family farm on the Forked Deer River.
She was nicknamed "Beck" probably after her grandmother Rebecca Marshall
Alston of Benton County, TN.
After her marriage to Orville Fort Bartlow, she moved to St. Louis where she
died June 23, 1953.
