E. & J. A. Williamson To Deed. Joseph R. Baker Rec’d. July 18" 1902 At 5 O’clock. P. M. J. J. Hurt, R. D. C. For the Consideration of One Hundred Dollarss evidenced by note executed this day by J. R. Baker to us We, Jno. A. Williamson and Edgar Williamson of Dyer County, Tenn., do hereby bargain, sell and convey unto said county & State our undivided interest being all the interest we have in the following described tract of land lying and being in the 16th Civil District of Dyer County near Obion River part of Archibald Murpheys Grant and adjoining the Pays saw mill tract. Beginning at a hickory corner in the south boundary 296 poles east from the S. W. Corner of the 700 acres conveyed to C. P. Clark by H. Clark runs thence north 186 poles to the south boundary of the N. Whittington tract; thence west two poles to his S. W. Corner; thence north 134 poles to a stake with a poplar and two sweetgum pointers; thence west 90 poles to a stake with cypress, red elm and small ash & sycamore pointers; thence south 320 poles to a sumach and two red oak pointers; thence east 92 poles to the beginning. Containing 182 acres more or less.. Being same land coveyed to us and Lula & J. L. Williamson by F. T. Simmons by deed of date 19th Feby., 1868 and regd. In book "O" page 78. The interest of J. A. Williamson was heretofore sold to J. R. Baker & Co. (old Firm) and the said Lula & J. L. Williamson having died and their interest descending to us we hereby convey the same together with all our remaining right and interest in said land to said J. R. Baker, To have and hold the same unto him his heirs and assigns forever. And we covenant with him that we are lawfully seized of said land and have a good right to convey the sand and that it is unencumbered and we bind ourselves heirs and representatives to warrant and forever defend the title of said land unto the said J. R. Baker his heirs and assigns against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever. Witness our hands the 8th. day of October 1888.
