State of Tennessee

Know All Men by these Presents, That we William Benthal, Wilson Frost and J. J. Yates are held and firmly bound unto the State of Tennessee, in the penal sum of One hundred Dollars for the payment whereof, well and truly to be made, we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators, jointly and severally, firmly by these presents. Witness our hands and seals, this Seventh day of December A. D. 1874

The Condition of this obligation is such, that Whereas the above bound William Benthal has been choosen and appointed Guardian of Thomas L. Bass, minor heir of I. F. Bass decd - his brother

Now, if the said William Benthal Guardian shall faithfully discharge his duty as Guardian, in every respect, then this bond to be void, otherwise to remain in full force and virtue.
