Know All Men by these Presents, That we David S. Burgie, Bell C. Burgie and W. S. Bryant are held and firmly bound unto the State of Tennessee, in the penal sum of One Thousand Dollars for the payment whereof, well and truly to be made, we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators, jointly and severally, firmly by these presents. Witness our hands and seals, this Fifth day of June A. D. 1871
The Condition of this obligation is such, that Whereas the above bound David S. Burgie has been choosen and appointed Guardian of John L. Barnett, minor heir of John Barnett deceased
Now, if the said David S. Burgie Guardian shall faithfully discharge his duty as Guardian, in every respect, then this bond to be void, otherwise to remain in full force and virtue.
